A comprehensive induction programme is provided for new staff to help you settle into your new role quickly and effectively, with ongoing support from line managers through performance management.
In addition there is a substantial programme of in-service training related to the work of advisers and school leaders. Training is led by experienced school improvement practitioners, many of whom have developed courses at national and international levels, including working with the National College for School Leadership and DfES.
There are opportunities to take part in regional conferences, seminars and workshops, for example TESOL Arabia. Nord Anglia staff are also encouraged to gain additional academic and professional accreditation through partnerships with other organisations. For example, Nord Anglia is currently in a joint venture with Liverpool Hope University in which a group of advisers have begun a Masters programme based around action research in schools, others are engaged in a CELTA programme to gain accreditation as teachers of English as a second language.
